Even though the choice for local processing is unwise with regards to coffee, this is different with tea. For the freshness of the tea, it does not matter whether the processing takes place in the Netherlands of Sri Lanka. And where the carbon footprint rises significantly with regards to coffee, this is not the case with regards to tea.
